Technical Project Manager/Business Analyst

Position Summary:
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams (Product, Management, QA, Development, Operations, Implementations and Support) to address business or systems issues. The person in this role must become a subject matter expert on development projects that they lead or work on. This person will be accountable for multiple projects at one time. They must be able to effectively apply our project management methodology and enforce project standards and best practices.

Position Description:

  • Develops technical use cases and requirements for applications and functions related to business problems to be solved with the eFR Network.
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data would be required.
  • Works with customers to identify and clarify business requirements.
  • Collaborates with architects to propose system solutions, and estimate high level costs.
  • Presents findings to customers and to project teams.
  • Consults with project teams during project implementation
  • Translates business requirements into technical terms.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in business analysis, requirements definition, building systems solutions and deployment of business requirements to information systems.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Healthcare revenue cycle/business off experience required.
  • 5+ years work experience delivering BI scripting and metrics reporting experience, preferably Cognos, but will consider experience with other solutions such as Business Objects, Oracle BI, SAS, Hyperion, Actuate, MS Performance Point, BSM Analytics, Crystal Reports, etc.
  • Strong database expertise (ideally MS SQL) including relational database structures.
  • Experience with creating and running advanced SQL queries and other database functions.
  • Expert in spreadsheet analysis, graphing data and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated 3 – 5 years experience use and application of Project Management process, skills, and tools (Microsoft Project Management certification a plus)
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor of Science required, Masters preferred
