“Designing the Healthcare Financial Network of the Future”

Catch up with CareMedic representatives at the Eighth Annual Medical Banking Institute—now a part of the HIMSS Annual Conference—March 1-2 in Atlanta. Both Sheila Schweitzer, CareMedic Chairperson and CEO, and Scott Krah, CareMedic Director of Banking Services, will be participating in panel discussions and presentations.

HIMSS MBProject is dedicated to improving health in society by using health information technology. The group is launching the Chairman’s Roundtable to convene top healthcare stakeholders who will be committed to advancing a global health-wealth paradigm by creating systemic change in our healthcare financial network. The initial design template, created by members at the 2009 Leadership Forum and facilitated by national experts at the Vanderbilt Center for Better Health, will form the basis of discussion at this year’s Institute. Work at the Institute will be added to the template that will then shape the organization’s 2010-2011 initiatives.

The Institute is open to the public and offers the nation's most authoritative venue for medical banking issues.
