This year's popular Medical Banking Boot Camp will open with special announcements from the new HIMSS Medical Banking Project, including the creation of a new Advisory Council, new programs that foster professional development, self-assessment and standards updates, as well as the organization’s "G7" strategy to promote positive change and innovation in health care.

This one-day session is followed by the Medical Banking Institute in conjunction with the HIMSS10 Expo in Atlanta. CareMedic’s Sheila Schweitzer, Vice President of HIMSS MBProject Advisory Council, will participate in the opening session of the boot camp, and will serve as moderator in Monday’s opening panel, The Healthcare Financial Network of the Future, at the Medical Banking Institute
